It’s been a while, but with the Hawks defeating the Saints last night at the MCG, they now get to meet the Cats in the 2008 AFL Grand Final!
Being a Hawks supporter I would love to see them win the Grand Final this year, but I’m not convinced that they can take it to the Cats in Grand Final conditions – the Cats are a fairly hefty opposition, and it will take everything the Hawks have if they are to win next week.
So next weekend, you’ll find me in front of the TV with a beer (or two… or three…), and a BBQ cooking out the back barracking for the Hawks – ‘Carn the Hawks!’
