Having hosted this blog on our own server at home for a number of years, the time came for us to move to a more up-to-date platform, and we invested in some online hosting with SiteGround.
One of the main instigators for the move to online hosting was the fact that we are going overseas for four months on our honeymoon, and are moving out of our apartment leaving us nowhere to leave the old server setup with access to the internet.
I have also re-branded the blog as ‘The Modrich Blog’. Previously it was called ‘ModrichDotNet’ and was hosted on the domain modrich.net, but as part of moving to online hosting, we have also acquired the modrich.com domain – both will eventually point here.
We will be using this site when we travel to update everyone with our adventures overseas – so stay tuned. We are due to head off on the 14th April 2008.
